Pearson is looking to add a temporary Recruiting Partner to our team in San Antonio, TX . Responsibilities include:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment process for high volume professional temporary corporate employment roles.

  • Partner with various business managers to deliver quality talent

  • Thoroughly assess candidate communication and professional skill set against job requirements via phone interviews; provide candidate summaries to hiring group

  • Work closely with our internal People Services team on scheduling interviews with hiring groups across multiple Pearson locations

  • Work closely with our internal People Services team to prepare offer letters, generate online on-boarding events and processes criminal background checks

  • Assist with candidate tracking across various recruitment/HRIS platforms

  • Develop a full understanding of Pearson culture and becoming an ambassador of that culture to potential hires

  • Champion our recruiting plan that markets Pearson as the employer of choice

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or other related field is a plus

  • 1-2 years of successful sourcing and high volume recruiting experience is a plus

  • Strong consultative skills along with the ability to cultivate strong relationships, both inside and outside of the organization

  • Knack for creating a recruitment pipeline

  • Working knowledge of employment law and industry best practices

  • Proficiency with HRIS and ATS systems and other recruitment platforms

  • A strong customer service mentality, interpersonal skills and a positive attitude are required

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with candidates, staff and other internal and external office visitors

  • Organize, prioritize and complete multiple projects concurrently, with extreme attention to detail

  • Demonstrate poise during high stress situations

  • Punctuality, reliability and flexibility are required

  • Work independently and be self-motivated

  • Maintain confidentiality

  • Please note, this is a temporary, non-benefits-eligible, on-site position at our Far North San Antonio, TX campus with projected duration of 4 months. Local candidates only please.No relocation assistance provided.
