Pearson’s Global Digital Channels and Experience team is looking for a Web Analytics Lead who will be accountable for the tracking capabilities of our flagship web domains and global ecommerce stores. You will be implementing tags, events and ecommerce tracking and will be driving requirements, roadmaps, backlogs and reporting. We need a Google Marketing Platform expert with experience in implementing ecommerce tracking and an ability to think strategically, obsess about the details and implement with speed.

Be theglobal marketing leadfor web analytics.
Increase our analytics capabilitiesincluding website tagging, funnels, forms, enhanced ecommerce, personalisation and predictive buying behaviour.
Define company-wide metricsand relevant data sources.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Technology and Productto obtain and ensure that current tools meet the business needs, driving requirements, roadmaps and backlog where appropriate.
Own Web Analytics for our Digital centre of excellenceincluding guidance, training and building templates/frameworks for global use.
Monitor data and tag quality,proactivelycorrecting discrepancies ensuring accuracy.
Work closely with the leadership team tohelp shape our digital strategy, understanding business needs and objectives, create actionable analytics plans.

Must Have Attributes :
Google 360 suite / marketing platform expert- Analytics, Tag Manager, Data Studio & Optimize, including Big Query.
Ideas driven- You have the capacity to be open to new ideas and comfortable exploring areas where there are no right answers.
Google qualifications/certifications- or equivalent Degree.
Demonstrable proficiency in statistics- forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
Data Visualisation expert- You can articulate complex data visually, enhancing the value of the insights.
CRM familiarity- Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Marketo & Oracle.
SQL knowledge- Limited or professional working proficiency.
Familiarity withAgile working methodologies.
Communication- You have developed interpersonal skills and use these to influence outcomes with persuasiveness and candour. You appreciate the diversity of stakeholder interactions and adapt your style and approach accordingly.
Interpersonal and relationship-building skills– You will bring with you a network of relationships, and a track record of excellent internal stakeholder management at all levels, seen as a trusted advisor to team leadership.
