This entry level position is working as a key team member of the Events team within Pearson’s Clinical Assessment group. Sharp focus on details and the ability to jump in and take charge are two attributes that will ensure your success. Must be able to thrive in a fast paced ever changing environment, consistently meet set deadlines, successfully multi-task, possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. There is room to grow or the right candidate! Must be capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.

Primary duties and responsibilities (include, but not limited to):

Logistics

  • Manage the National and State tradeshow lists & assist with forecasting working cross-functionally to ensure the information is accurate

  • Manage all logistics for state tradeshows to include printed materials, banner stands, decorator needs, including tracking and shipping materials.

  • Prepare meeting rosters as requested

  • Cvent gatekeeper for all Assessments requests

Finance/Budgeting

  • Manage and track expense for all State tradeshows

  • Process and track invoice payments

  • Manage budget reporting, including budget tracking, invoices, reconciliation of programs, expense reports of customers, contracts, and permits, metrics tracking

Other

  • Manage Best Practices documentation/file for Assessment Event Management Team

  • Execute internal meeting requests as requested

Qualifications

Education and Experience :

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and general PC skills.

  • Experience with Cvent a plus.

  • Experience and knowledge of internal Pearson systems a plus.

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Good interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.

  • Keen attention to details and quality.

  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks.

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Strong communication skills

  • Some travel as needed.
